We are halfway through build season, and Round Table Robotics has gotten a lot done! We’ve been working on finishing a lot of things this week. We’re excited to reel in the rest of the season for our big catch, the robot!
For assembly, we’ve finally finished the field! With the completion of the NET and BARGE. We've completed most of the elevator for the final robot, and are only waiting on a few final parts. We’ve started building our final design for the intake.
Our electrical team has wired the Kraken motors for our robot! With the help of our fabrication team, the electrical panel is cut, and wired, powering most electronics.
Speaking of fabrication, they created a few prototypes and have also created the parts for our first version of our competition intake for our robot.
Our design team has finalized the robot, creating the design we will use for competitions. They’ve shared the design with the rest of the team. They have also been pushing parts to our fabrication team to make sure that we can continue to be successful this build season.
Our scouting team went over ways of scoring during the REEFSCAPE game. After comparing during early season some strategies that teams might play, metrics were determined for keeping track. We’re meeting with Arsenal of Engineering (6223) from our scouting alliance to finalize these metrics and finish the scouting form.
Programming also got a lot done this week. They've worked on updating the 2025 radios as per Team Update 6. They also got the PhotonVision system running for the robot. If you want to learn more about this, watch the video of their interview!
Finally, thank you to Texas Roadhouse for sponsoring our food!
